We believe and teach…
Inspiration and preservation of the words of the Bible (II Timothy 3:16; Psalm 12:6-7). The King James Bible is the inspired, preserved Word of God for English-speaking people.
God is a triune being – three co-equal, co-eternal persons in one unified Godhead: Father, Son, and Spirit (Isaiah 6:8; I John 5:7).
Jesus Christ has eternally existed as the Son of God and took on human flesh when the Holy Spirit overshadowed the virgin Mary. He lived entirely apart from sin in order to be the perfect “Lamb of God.” His death on the cross was substitutionary for the sins of the whole world. After dying on the cross, he was in the grave three literal days and nights before bodily rising from the tomb, giving proof of His resurrection, and ascending to the right hand of the Father. (John 1:1; Isaiah 7:14; II Corinthians 5:21; I John 2:2; I Corinthians 15:3-4)
All of mankind fell into sin and will face a literal hell, apart from repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21; Genesis 3; Romans 5:12-17; Revelation 20:11-15; Ephesians 2:8-9).
Supernatural “sign” gifts of the Holy Spirit (tongues, healing, etc.) have ceased during this present age (I Corinthians 13:8).
God created everything from nothing in six literal, twenty-four-hour days as recorded in the first chapter of Genesis.
Local churches are to be self-governing. Each local church is a true body of believers made up of members who are saved and baptized by immersion, assembling together for edification, exhortation, and evangelism (Matthew 18:15-20; Acts 2:41-42).
Jesus Christ is coming at any moment to receive believers in the air (rapture). Unbelievers left behind will experience seven years of tribulation on the earth before Jesus Christ visibly returns to the earth for His 1,000 year reign in the Millennial Kingdom (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; II Thessalonians 2).
Believers are to separate from all ungodliness. This includes both individual and ecclesiastical separation (II Corinthians 6:14-7:1).
